If I used the wrong power cords on an Xbox 360 elite will microsoft repair the damages?

I used cords which were from an old 16.5amp xbox on the 14.2 elite.
It just happend. All answers would be greatly appreciated!

Im am going to let it sit for a week, and buy a new power brick. Im sure it was the brick. It heated up the xbox and kept fans on even after I shutdown.
It said e73 and blinked 1 light

They should, as long as it’s still under warranty.

In fact, it shouldn’t even have broken it. For anybody that had one of the original Xenon 360s with the 16.5A power bricks, Microsoft replaces them with 14.2A Falcons. As a result there are lots of 14.2A systems that are being used with the 16.5A bricks.
